Just in time for the film’s 30th anniversary, Shout! Factory and Hasbro Studios announced that they are working together to release an all new edition of the classic animated film on September 13, 2016.
The re-release will contain a newly remastered digital high definition transfer from the original 35mm source material. The film will be available in a collectible packaging and as expected will include bonus features but what’s not known is if these bonus features will be carried over from the 20th anniversary release of the film or if it’s all new bonus material. Perhaps a combination of the two? Why not!
The film has been released on blu-ray format in other countries outside of the United States before but with out the additional bonus content.

Machinima has released this little piece of internet gold a few days ago. Don’t know how I didn’t catch it till now. It’s definitely fun to watch, even though I know that the story isn’t really meant to be taken serious but I have to admit it’s a little clunky, they could’ve ironed it out a bit more than they did. Besides that, it’s a very cool mashup! Enjoy!
